Palma has changed. And a lot.
Generations have passed, new neighbourhoods have been built, the port has been enlarged, tourists have arrived from all over the world. But there are things that are still there. Ca n’Eduardo is one of them.
Since 1943, we have been a restaurant where people come to celebrate, to get together, to eat well. A meeting point for those who live in Palma, not just for those who visit it. And we want to keep it that way.
We know there are many ways of seeing Palma. But there is one that can only be discovered when you sit on our terrace and watch the light change over the port. When you recognise every corner of the Lonja. When you remember coming here with your father, with your grandparents, with work colleagues… or with that person you no longer go out with, but who taught you your favourite dish.
We want residents to keep coming back. Because this restaurant is also yours. And it always has been.
Local cuisine, with local produce
We want to use the best produce, which is why we chose it just a few metres from the restaurant, in La Lonja. Our kitchen team, led by Pedro Mesquida, works with honesty, respect for tradition and a modern touch that does not erase the origin.
Here you can order a fried cockerel with onion, a Mallorcan-style cod, or try something a little different, such as the seabass popieta with red curry, or a rice dish with lobster that tastes like it should on a Sunday with the family.
And yes: there is also room for a long coffee, an after-dinner drink overlooking the sea, or one of our desserts. It’s not just a restaurant: it’s part of the city. We don’t care if it’s been a while since you’ve been here. The important thing is that when you come, you feel that this is still yours.
A place where you can eat well, feel at ease, and breathe the Palma that doesn’t appear in the guidebooks.
We have been here for more than 80 years. And what excites us most is to continue to be part of your life. We are waiting for you as always: with sea views, cuisine with soul and tables that bring together what really matters.
