Having a well-organized group menu is essential to ensure that your corporate event or family celebration by the Port of Palma is a success. At Ca n’Eduardo, we’ve been hosting groups in our dining rooms, ground floor, terrace and private salon for over 80 years, offering Mediterranean dishes centered on fresh market fish, rice dishes and shellfish. That’s why today we’re answering the questions we’re most often asked by those who choose our group menus that you can find on our website.
1. How far in advance should I book the group menu?
To guarantee space availability and the best selection of fresh market produce, we recommend booking at least 4 days in advance.
- Our team coordinates seating and menus according to capacity: interior dining room (up to 150 guests), ground floor (70 guests), upper floor (65 guests), private salon (15 guests) and terrace (120 guests).
- During the high season (July and August), we often sell out weeks in advance due to events such as the Palma International Boat Show and the Copa del Rey de Vela.
2. What is the minimum and maximum number of guests?
- Minimum recommended: 8 people. Although some paellas are available from 2 guests, our group menus are designed for larger parties starting from 8–10 diners.
- Maximum: up to 150 guests in the interior dining room and 120 on the terrace. For very small groups, please ask about our paella and rice options (minimum 2 people).
3. How does the menu selection work for the whole group?
All group menus follow this structure:
- Unified selection: you must choose one single option for starters and/or main course for the entire group when booking.
- Sharing dishes: in our standard menus (e.g. €45/person “Tapas” menu or €50/person “Ca n’Eduardo” menu), one sharing dish is served for every four guests, ensuring variety and a smooth service flow.
- Desserts & drinks: water (still and sparkling) and coffee are always included; the menu also includes bread, alioli and complimentary olives.
4. What options do you offer for special diets?
At Ca n’Eduardo we cater to intolerances and dietary preferences with tailored menus:
- Vegetarian & vegan: dishes based on seasonal vegetables, rice and fresh salads.
- Gluten-free: upon request, we prepare gluten-free versions of several starters and rice dishes.
- Allergies: adapted ceviches and shellfish dishes, with full traceability of the product.

5. What is included in the price of the group menu?
- VAT & service: all included in the rate.
- Drinks: water (still and sparkling) and coffee; for an additional charge, we can add a selection of Mallorcan wines (two bottles per three guests) and draft beers.
- Complimentary extras: Mallorcan bread, alioli, olives and table service.
